I write plays & poetry and make weird internet experiments. (I also do editorial work & make websites!)

I’m interested in experiments of form, small art, & propagandizing for a world that could be, rather than the terrible world that is

My past work includes WORK HARD HAVE FUN MAKE HISTORY (Clubbed Thumb), FUTURE WIFE (Theatertreffen Stückemarkt) & Party in A Google Sheet (New Georges).

I’m under commission from NYTW, NAATCO + Long Wharf Theatre, Breaking the Binary Theatre & a past recipient of the Sundance Institute’s Interdisciplinary Program Grant.

Currently, I’m a member of Ars Nova’s Play Group and the New Georges Jam, and an alum of Clubbed Thumb’s Early Career Writers' Group & NYTW’s 2050 Fellowship.

🎒 Isabel will be up at Abrons Arts Center in June and July, produced by NAATCO!

🤠 Excited to be the first recipient of the Breaking the Binary commission!

🌳 I’m one of ten artists selected for the 2023/4 Orchard Project Greenhouse Lab!

👍 WORK HARD HAVE FUN MAKE HISTORY will be part of Clubbed Thumb’s Summerworks, running May 18-30!

✨ Performing a short excerpt of DEBT at Chaotic Good no. 3 on Mar 9, 7.30pm @ St. Lydia’s in Gowanus!

🌾 A short play I wrote will be featured in a one-night event for the film WOMEN TALKING! (🎧 now available on Audible)

💫 I’m one of six new members of Ars Nova’s 2023-25 Play Group!

🐐 FUTURE WIFE will be presented at the Goethe-Institut Beijing in February 2023!

🤖 WORK HARD HAVE FUN MAKE HISTORY is part of the reading lineup at the very first Breaking the Binary Theatre Festival in October 2022!

💸 DEBT, an extremely loose adaptation of David Graeber’s 5,000-year history (jointly proposed by me + Adrian Einspanier), was a semi-finalist for the 2022 Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commission!
